Review & Giveaway ~*~ Vixen in Vegas by Emma Nichols

It was supposed to be a week of simply being, of living in the moment, and enjoying every minute while it lasted. Of course, that kind of intoxication can have lingering effects. For Sin, she found herself wanting to break all the rules, to extend her time with the stranger who stole her heart. Vegas was just the right kind of place to take such a gamble. Meeting up with BE at the gondolas was a risk. Love went against everything they had promised, but the best things in life can’t be planned.

Soon Alysin will be tested.

After guarding her heart for so long, she finally let a man in and discovered that the worst things in life happened when she least expected them. When she walked in on BE with another woman and overheard their heated conversation, she suddenly remembered there was a reason she made these rules.

Will broken rules lead to broken hearts or will she realize that though love was a gamble, she was all in?

4 Star Review ~*~
First, I highly recommend you do not read Vixen in Vegas until you first read Sin at Sea.  While you will enjoy it, you'll enjoy it it much, much more if you read them in order!

Vixen in Vegas is a highly emotional story that gets more and more so before you finally get to the end of the roller coaster.  While I liked Alysin and BE, Jolie really stole my heart! I hope that someday she gets her own story she is the best BFF in the world and had me laughing and pondering at numerous times throughout the story. Alysin deals with the good and bad in her life in her own way and while it seems to work for her, it's not going to work for long so she has some things to learn. BE is almost too good to be true!  I love him and really wish I could meet more guys like him!

The biggest pitfalls of the story for me were some of the Vegas settings. Being a local resident they just didn't jive and while I tried to not let it pull me from the story, I couldn't seem to help it when I encountered them.

Overall, it is a wonderfully emotional story to sink your teeth in to.  The passion, angst, love, and friendship that is portrayed is enough to touch any reader and for that I highly recommend picking up Vixen in Vegas after you've read Sin at Sea...
