Review & Guest Post ~*~ The Seen Trilogy by Cynthia Sax

We are really excited to welcome Cynthia Sax to the blog today!
She talks about the first book in the Seen Trilogy . . .

Living An Invisible Life
Cynthia Sax, Author of He Watches Me

Anna, the not-so-innocent-yet-virginal heroine of He Watches Me, prefers to be invisible, to not be noticed or seen or watched. The opening two paragraphs give readers a taste of her philosophy.

***
I’m like a ghost. I drift aimlessly through the Leigh’s empty Beverly Hills mansion, my bare feet slapping against the painted gray concrete floor, shoes not allowed in the sprawling modern bungalow.

I’m not dead. I move the oversized, never-been-opened book staged on the chrome coffee table an inch to the right. I’m breathing. I flick one light on and turn another light off, maintaining the minimum required amount of illumination. I have a physical form. I rearrange some of the catalogues, creating the illusion that they have been recently placed on the modern glass table, all of the stores featured priced out of a new graduate’s budget. But I’m not living, not truly, and no one sees me … which is how I like it.

Whenever Anna is ‘seen’, she ends up being hurt. Her past is exposed and she’s mocked or abandoned. She decides it is safer to be invisible. This means denying her sexuality because Anna is an exhibitionist, being seen arouses her. This is more than a sexual preference, a nice-to-have kink. Being seen is a sexual need for her.

Blaine, her enigmatic neighbor, sees Anna. He’s the voyeur to her exhibitionist. Watching arouses him and no one intrigues him more than his fence-hopping virgin. When they meet, passions flare. Blaine and Anna recognize who they could be to each other. They also recognize the possible pain they could inflict. This scares Anna and she’s torn between being safe and being sexually satisfied. Can she trust Blaine not to hurt her, not to abandon her? Can she trust herself around him?

To make the situation even more messy, Blaine is a billionaire, a founder of a successful high tech company and a high profile person. He prefers privacy but he is often thrust into the spotlight because he is… well… Blaine. Everyone around him is thrust into this spotlight also. They’re seen, exposed to judgment, to being hurt. If they had a relationship and the media found out, Anna would no longer be invisible. She’d be front-page news.

Do you prefer being seen or being invisible? Have you ever longed to be completely invisible?

He Watches Me

She desires to be seen. He wants to watch.

Anna Sampson has a naughty secret. Every night, she slips into her neighbor’s yard and swims naked in his pool. She fantasizes that the dynamic young billionaire watches her nightly nude aquatics, his brilliant green eyes gleaming with lust.

She discovers this isn’t pure fantasy. Gabriel Blaine has been watching her via his security cameras, and now that he has returned to L.A., he doesn’t plan to stop. That’s all he wants—to watch. Anna knows she shouldn’t allow him and she certainly shouldn’t want more, but she craves Blaine’s attention, needing his gaze fixed on her body.

He Touches Me
His touch enflames her desires.

Anna Sampson has allowed billionaire businessman Gabriel Blaine to watch her, all of her. And looking is all he’s done—until now. After giving him permission to touch her, Anna realizes she won’t be satisfied until she has all of this handsome and secretive man.

Soon she tempts him, shreds his control, and pushes him too far. Blaine’s reluctance to take her virginity frustrates Anna. He fulfills her fantasy, but what is their reality together?

He Claims Me
A billionaire’s desires and a virgin’s wish to be claimed come together.

Two men want Anna Sampson. Gabriel Blaine is powerful, intelligent, the CEO of a successful company, and a billionaire. He’s watched her, touched her, encouraged her to become a strong, independent woman, a woman unafraid of her desires.

Now secrets from the past are exposed, threatening Anna’s freedom and safety. Will the man she loves stand by her side, or will he desert her, leaving Anna once again to face the future alone?

The searing climax of The Seen Trilogy.

5 Star Review ~*~
Ok, I am going to try and give the best review I can without giving away any spoilers from the books!

First, you must read all three in order!  They are all released and only $0.99 each (about 80-100 pages each).  Don't go pick up book three without reading the first two.  It is a phenomenal series that focus' on the same characters and their progressive relationship.  I can easily see why Cynthia Sax made them individual books rather than put it all in one novel.

First there is Anna, who I adored.  There are so many times in life where you just want to be invisible and she has it down to an art form that at times I envied, while other times I empathized with her and at others I just felt sorry for her.  At no point did I take a dislike to Anna.  She is endearing and unique.

Blaine starts off rather creepy.  Let's be honest, he does a lot of watching, no touching.  I was a little creeped out, but I was so enthralled with the story and how different it is from anything else I have read that I had to see what happens next.  This trilogy is really refreshing in that the characters and story will touch your heart and be completely relatable to a time in everyone's life in some form or another.

I highly recommend picking up all three and sitting down to devour them.  Enjoy :-)
