Ray didn’t dare let go of Amber’s hand. He knew the modest, uptight Amber still had a death grip on the sexy, more confident woman he’d made love to earlier that evening. At any moment she might get cold feet and run back to the safety of the bathroom. Once they got started though, he hoped she’d get caught up in the sensual game. By the end of the evening she’d know for sure if this is what she really wanted.

But could he count on Cal to follow through? His cousin had been initially shocked, but it hadn’t taken much to talk him into playing his part, especially when Ray assured him that Amber would be directing things.

To tell the truth, he was relieved about that as well. The only kind of threesome he’d ever imagined himself being involved in featured two women, not two men. He didn’t have a clear idea of how this all should go. Since it was Amber’s favorite fantasy, he was counting on her knowing exactly how to choreograph the whole thing.

They came around the corner to find Cal standing like a deer in the headlights in the center of the living room. God, maybe this wasn’t such a good idea after all. His cousin’s expression was strained at the least, his fists clenched, eyes darting anywhere but at the two of them. Ray felt Amber’s resistant tug on his hand and knew if they all stood around and thought about this any longer, it wasn’t going to happen.

He quickly pulled Amber into his arms and kissed her, using his tongue to plunder her mouth in a way that was meant to reawaken the sensual woman who had just shared his bed. For a moment she was stiff and self-conscious in his arms, but gradually she softened and began to kiss him back. He dared to put his hand on her ass and drag her shirt up just a little, knowing Cal would be able to see the rounded globes of her lovely brown skin. He also knew that Amber would realize Cal could see.

She froze again.

“You’re so beautiful. So sexy,” he whispered in her ear. “I can’t keep my hands off you.”

She stared up at him, and he smiled at her and kissed her again. A small moan broke from her throat as she responded, quivering in his arms. They all heard the sound. Cal was watching them now, his expression avid. Ray moved his hands up her back, dragging the shirt higher.

“Tell us what you want, Amber.”

She glanced over at Cal for the first time, and then closed her eyes. Her cheeks were highly colored.

“Um, no shirts.” He could barely hear her.

Cal stripped out of his dress shirt in record time and flung it on the floor.

“What else, baby?” He rained small kisses along her hairline as he massaged her back and let the tips of his fingers brush across her naked ass. “Do you want Cal to touch you too? Or just watch us?”

“Oh God. I don’t know about this.” She started to pull away.

“I do. I know you want it. We want it for you, baby. Come on. Relax and enjoy yourself.”
She nodded, but then she dropped her gaze and just stood there motionless. Ray held his breath and watched a storm of expressions cross her lovely face. Things were not looking very promising. Suddenly she turned back to Cal.

“Come stand behind me, okay?”

Cal circled around them and took his place.

“Up closer,” she prompted. “Now take hold of my upper arms.” She let out a gasp when his fingers touched her arms. She glanced over her shoulder toward him. “Tighter. So I can’t—escape.”

Cal’s hands firmly banded her upper arms and pulled back so that her breasts made saucy points against the fabric of the shirt. Ray licked his lips as Amber gave another broken moan and closed her eyes.

“Oh God,” she gasped. “Ray. Please. Touch me. Everywhere.”

Review ~

Amber's Fantasy is the first book I've read by Pepper Anthony but I don' think it will be my last.  Ms. Anthony creates a world that is relatable and realistic to the reader.  The characters have flaws and quirks that make you feel like you just might meet them on the street one day.

Amber has fantasies and when Ray accidentally finds out this fantasies he is determined to buck company policy and make Amber's dreams come true.  While Amber is hesitant for a number of reasons, she has a chance that most women would be excited to experience at least once.

While I found the relationship a little bit awkward and clumsy, it was realistic.  It made me chuckle thinking about how weird it would be to be with two men, who were related and had a bond.  While attracted to them, it would just feel weird and Amber's Fantasy expresses the joy, passion and awkwardness of embarking on attempting a fantasy that is not 'normal'.

Like most writers, I've worn quite a collection of hats over the years ~ voice actor, artist, bookkeeper, retail sales ~ but I've always wanted to be a writer. My biggest dream was to see my name on a book cover. Now, with the advent of e-publishing, the covers may be virtual, but the thrill of seeing my name on them is real. I am so humbled by the idea that my stories might draw in a reader and provide her an hour or two of entertainment.

I've been married to my best friend Tom for thirty years. Together we've raised two amazing sons, and recently welcomed our first grand daughter, Leona Mae. Most days you can find me at our family's computer repair shop in a small town outside Portland, Oregon. At night I go home to my rambling fixer-upper in the woods and toil at my writing, assisted by a small menagerie of furry assistants.

I love it when a reader takes a moment to reach out and let me know what she thinks of my stories. I hope you'll feel free to email me or leave a comment on my website.

8 Inch Review ~*~
Mary's Men was a interesting story about small town life and non-traditional relationships. While it is set in the 60's it doesn't feel like it at all, and that is probably what I had the most trouble with.  I can't explain why I felt like it was more modern ~ Just gut feeling maybe, but I did spend a lot of the story fact checking because it felt much more modern than it was!

I did enjoy the dynamics of the relationships.  Each of Mary's Men are very different from the other so her ability to deal with their personalities and quirks was really fascinating. From one of her men coming home from war, to a farmer, and lastly a lawyer each dynamic is a little different and each man needs a different kind of loving.

If you like a sweet story with a little bit of heat that comes with a menage, Mary's Men might be right up your alley.  They relationship they work to build is as unique as the individuals in it and really makes you think about differences we don't always see.

I like to have a bond with my characters before they do.

The Weekend Proposition
One weekend—no strings, no expectations, and no commitments. On Sunday afternoon it all ends, or does it?

13. Can you share a little of your current work with us?
Sure! I loved writing The Weekend Proposition. Here's one of my favorite scenes...

“I’m not looking to be the next Bachelor.”

“I’m sure that show would love you. Rich, successful, and totally hot.”

“You think I’m hot?” He smirked all smug-like and sexy.

“Like you didn’t already know?”

“That I’m hot or that you thought I was hot?”

“You are arrogant.”

“I don’t have time for a relationship. My job is very demanding.”

“You still need a social life.” She shrugged. “Not that I have time for one.”

“You see, that’s why my proposition is perfect.”

When he turned to leave the room she reached out and touched his tattoo. She couldn’t stop herself. His muscles tightened under her fingers. He looked over his shoulder and into her eyes.

“I didn’t expect this.” She traced over the keys. “Do you play?”

He nodded as he held her gaze.

“It’s really good.” She moved closer to get a better look. She wasn’t sure where her boldness came from but she couldn’t stop touching his heated skin. “Did you have it done in the city?”

“Um, yes.” He spoke so low she almost missed it.

“Old Souls Tattoo Parlor?” She saw a date written just underneath the picture. She wondered what it symbolized.

“How did you know that?”

“I’m friends with Jake. He’s a remarkable artist. His tats almost pop off the skin. I could tell by the color scheme this was his work. It looks like you could almost play this miniature piano.” She continued to run her fingers over the image. “He’s done all of mine.”

“You have more?” He turned to face her. “I saw the one at the nape of your neck.”

“I have a few more.”

“Where?” She felt his breath on her lips.

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” She gave him a flirty smile. “You better get ready for dinner.”

“Only if you’ll promise to tell me later.”

“Maybe I’ll show you.”

“You like to tease me, don’t you? That could be dangerous.”

Review ~*~
The Weekend Proposition is a really fun story.  It reads quickly and sucks you in from the first pages as you meet Spencer and Dakota after work one night.  They need each other for various reason and Spencer has the ability to make it work, little does he know Dakota is not just a pretty face and things are going to get a little crazy.

Both characters have interesting quirks and need each other for the weekend, but little do they know they have a lot more in common than most people would think.  The passion they feel for each other is just the least of what they have going for them.

Ella Jade creates a world that is believable and that a reader can put themselves in with the characters. Every book I've read by Ella has made me want to have at least one of the characters she creates as my best friend and The Weekend Proposition is no different.  If you are looking for a sweet romance that has a bit of passion, family, and love pick up The Weekend Proposition and enjoy these characters.  It is worth it ;)

"Friend of yours?" Scott cut his eyes at her, a single brow raised as they stepped on the sidewalk in front of the Italian restaurant, heading in the direction of her parents' house.

Jennica shook her head even though he was a few steps in front of her and wouldn't see. He walked fast, still hanging on to her hand. He'd punched Troy right in the face. Taken up for her, something no one had ever done. Her heart swelled with appreciation, followed by an anxious panic racing through her veins. In a matter of minutes they would be at her childhood home. There hadn't been much time with him…not what she needed.

"Scott."

He didn't respond, just charged ahead. A man on a mission to drop her and her giant baggage off where he'd found them. A massive lump formed in her throat, blocking her words. She wanted to explain. Tell him about Troy and what he'd done. Let him know why she was so screwed up, but nothing came out.

She glanced at the house with a quick mental note that all the lights were out as he led her by the front walkway and through the manicured grass, not stopping until they were hidden from the streetlights under the carport. Once there, he released her hand and took a few steps, pausing at the edge of the light. The darkness kept her from seeing his expression, but his silhouette against the moonlit night sent thick surges of frenzied tension straight through her, making her chest feel caved.

"You didn't deserve . . ." he said, in almost a whisper. An angry one. "Is he the reason you think you're screwed up?"

She didn't answer. She didn't need to. He knew. She could tell it in his voice, see it in his stride as he moved toward her. Felt it in his touch as he cupped her face with his hands, lifting it so her tearful sight had no other choice but to look him straight on.

"You can't believe him. You're no one's trash." His eyes seemed to grow darker, pained, fixated on hers. Lost in them, she couldn't look away. Couldn't speak. "You are beautiful . . . so beautiful it hurts." He bent down, resting his forehead on hers. "I would do anything to have you."

She swallowed hard at the way he'd spoken, slow and determined, as if those words were a concentrated version of everything he'd ever wanted to say. And she understood why. Through all the confusion in her mind, the war with the tug in her chest, the burning need to touch him, she realized, she felt the same way. "Then have me."

"I'm making coffee, want any?" Darcy called from the kitchen.

As Steven entered the kitchen he said, "I'd love a cup."

Steven leaned against the counter. Darcy poured water into the coffee maker and then scooped the coffee in. After she pressed the brew button, she turned and stared back at him.

"That wasn't so bad," he said.

She nodded. "Yeah, it was okay."

Steven laughed. "Your parents were kind." He reached his hand out toward her.

Darcy walked to him, taking his hand.

"Your dad gave us his blessing."

"I had no doubt he would. Your family is well known."

Steven wasn't sure what had come over him, maybe it was the scotch he'd shared with her dad, but he couldn't resist the beautiful woman in front of him. He tugged her to him, and her body molded against his perfectly. With his free hand, he pushed her hair behind her ear and then pressed his lips to hers. He expected resistance from her, but she opened up right away, wanting the kiss as much as he did.

Sliding his hand around her neck, he tilted her head so he could deepen the kiss. Her fingers danced around his waist and the little sensation went straight to his groin. Releasing her hand, he gripped her waist and pulled her into him. He was hard and it pressed into her and she didn't seem to mind. Damn this woman! She should be pushing away from him, reminding him they were to stay friends, but instead he kept hoping her hand would find its way lower.

Could they do this once and then pretend it never happened? His erection was telling him yes, but his brain was telling him no. He started to pull away from the kiss, but Darcy wouldn't let him.

God, he was turned on and wanted to touch her, taste her, explore her. He needed her!

"Stop, Darcy." He pushed her off him.

She stepped back, a shocked look on her face.

"I can't control myself. I want to take you to bed so bad."

"I want that too." She moved closer to him again and wrapped her arm around his neck and let her other hand dangle at his waistband. "Can't we have a little fun?"

Do it or not? Yes or no? His core ached and taunted him. Taking a deep breath, he decided to listen to the head below. He lifted Darcy up and sat her on the counter. His lips were everywhere. Her neck, collarbone. His hands were greedy as they worked the buttons on her blouse. "Stop me now, Darcy."

She gazed into his eyes and then cupped his erection through his pants. "No."

"No turning back?"

"No turning back."

4 Star Review ~*~
Lacey Wolfe always creates an engaging story and Wanted: Wife is no different.  I really loved that while Steven advertised for a wife and Darcy answered it, they actually knew each other from school. And way back when had crushes on each other and neither knew it.

Darcy comes from a prominent family, but she doesn't want to live the life they want her to so she has ventured out on her own.  Only it didn't go as well as planned so when she sees Steven's ad for a wife, she figures why not.  At least the money she makes will help her start over!  Little did she know how her plans would change.

Steven and Darcy are both great characters who are trying to get past their families expectations of them and create something of their own.  But when push comes to shove, they both have trouble admitting the crushes they once had and their feelings today both to themselves and to each other.

Lacey Wolfe created a great story that is unique in its own right based on a plot that sometimes seems overdone.  I really enjoyed her creativity with the characters and their situations as the relationship progresses.  Wanted: Wife is a page turner for sure.  I highly recommend picking it up.

Micah's 4 Star Review of Business & Pleasure ~*~

From the start of the book, I really enjoyed Mia's character.  Even though she isn't in a traditional career, she is completely relatable from page one. Lawrence's character, however, took some getting used to.  At first, I thought he was a little creepy and I didn't understand his motives.  In general, his beginning character development was a little lacking.  It made up for it once we got into some more chapters from his point of view.  I love books with dual points of view.

I loved the plot.  It was very Pretty-Woman-esque and who doesn't love that story.  While I did love the plot lines, some of the subplots weren't very developed.  The reason that she had a colossal freak out about their intimacy, but slept with him so quickly wasn't exactly explained like I wanted (until the very end and then still not like I wanted).  That was my only gripe.  The story moved quickly and you could feel the heat and emotion between the two of them.  The big climactic reveal was really big and climactic.

It was a really nice story and I would recommend it!

Author Info ~*~
I have always believed that the best stories are the ones that you can't put down, the ones that transport you to a different place and make you believe in the characters. This is exactly why I write… I have always loved the escapism that reading and writing provides, and there is nothing more exciting than imagining your own set of characters, and then letting them practically write the story for you. Writing has always been a dream of mine, and I'm lucky to have the kind of people around me that have always nurtured and encouraged my passion.

I live a cozy little life in Wales, and when I'm not writing I'm taking care of my young family, studying for a degree in Classical Studies, and training to become a nail technician. I love traveling to new places, meeting new people, and experiencing new things…it's all great inspiration for my books!
