Review & New Release Blitz ~*~ Hers by Dawn Roberston

About Hers:

I am weak.
I am lonely.
I am a slut.
I am strong.
I am Dominant.
I am independent.
I am Seven James.

My entire life, no one has wanted me, and that was fine, because I sure as shit didn't need anyone else. Blah, Blah Blah, insert sad story here about negligent parents, and shitty siblings, and you have my life story in a nut shell. When my college boyfriend dumped me, it was just icing on the cake. Five years, and a booming career later I am here to collect my revenge.

That was until a delicious plaything walked into the kink club I frequent, and rocked my typically un-rockable world. Causing me to break the one rule I have lived by since Daniel Alexander walked out of my life, never have sex with the same person twice. Ever.

Warning!!!! Hers contains sexually explicit situations that may be uncomfortable for some. These include FF, FMF, and MFM interactions.

7 Inch Review ~*~
For a Debut Novel, Dawn Roberston gives us a main character in Seven that is likeable and realistic.  I think a lot of readers will enjoy her take on life, love, and her pursuit of happiness ;) I truly enjoyed her take on life and her determination to go after what she wants, yet her fears affect her life just like anyone else.

I have issues with the contradictions.  I don't want to go into detail because some of them will be spoilers. But there are a few instances where a character states something and later in the book the unexpected happens and no one is surprised, shocked, angry, unbelieving.

I also didn't find the plot as well developed as I would have liked.  It had great potential and I was really excited to read this.  But the characters seem confused.  Especially Levi.  While he knows what he wants he sometimes acts one way and other times the complete opposite and there is not the resolution or definition to their relationship that I expected from this type of story.  Again I don't want to give spoilers so I won't detail more.

I was left feeling unsatisfied and confused after finishing.  I am not sure I want to read the sequel there is a part of me that wants to give it a chance, and a part of me that doesn't want to feel like I wasted two hours once I finish.

I received an ARC Copy from the author in exchange for an honest review
